Expusre for nightscene? was created by avicohen2k
me again
I'm also working on a night scene. (more like a 19:45 scene). any way SR's autoexpusre changes anylight I place to a night bright daylight. (which is great for daylight)
right now for night scene I'm setting the shutter speed my self around the 1000's
is there a way to tell SR I'm woking on a night scence so it wont make things so bright?
Thanks.

not for instance
SR Autoexpo just try to keep the average of all pixels (or non alpha ones, depends of your settings) to 50% grey.
But i can try to add some autoexpo "programs" like daylight, twilight, night, etc... just like numeric cams on the market.. would be funny !

Thanks!
thats what I guessed was happening..
I think that would be a great and usfull feature by many useres!!! (complicated?)
here is something I'm working on right now in that direction..
maybe in the end I'll load a few things in the gallery..

héhé, nice !
not so complicated to add "programs" in autoexposure, the hardest will be a good "calibration"

I have decided to make this my biggest feature request!
I'm also working on an interior redner, around 18:00 PMish with low exterior sun&sky and interior yellow vray lights.
if I use SR's automatic (EXP&WB) configurations I get normal 12noon and all the effect dissaperas.
maybe there should be a day light time slider
where you set your time of day and acourding to it SR will harden its expusere and wb effect
noon = maximum white effect, 18:00pm low expusre& wb too the red and yellows..
Haaa... The above image still needs allot of work ..
