FlyWiz 1.7.1 and Rebusfarm was created by eyepiz
Hello,
I working on a project that we need to farm out, tight deadline, does SR flyWiz work with Rebusfarm? I noticed there is no save to farm button, if so what's the proper procedure.
Please let me know.
Thank you!

Hi Eric,
yes i need to create these buttons.
It's a bit more complicated as there is 3 passes to manage...
but, We worked this week on Flywiz for SR for C4d, and Stefan Laub guided us to a simple method.
Because actually the flythrough mode don't work (in Vray for c4d), they suggest an "official" method in 2 passes.
works very fione as far as i've tested.
Have a look here, pretty simple !

note : you should apply SR settings to the scene before doing that.
so i'm thinking to simplify the flywiz tools of SR for max to match the C4d one, in 2 passes instead of 3.
lot of works and testing, that's why it takes so much time.
cheers

Ok cool, I will take a look at the C4D process...I think we only need the Final render stage to be able to save for farm. The first two go quick, I render those locally and I only need to send the final render stage to Rebusfarm.
My workaround had been, rendering stage one and two locally, sending stage three to backburner and extracting the Max file from backburner and using that one to submit to Rebusfarm.
What do you think?

not bad, if you don't forget to apply SolidRocks settings to the scene (the prepare for farm button do that automatically)

It's workaround, a bit clumsy, but a save for farm button like MOAW on stage 3 would be such a time saver.
