UNC problem for LC and IR maps

Hi,

I'm using back-burner with Max 2011 and I cant see how to set a unc path for the LC and IR paths in solid-rocks so that the back-burner servers can find the IR and LC maps. In the button for setting the IR and LC path in solid-rocks I cant type in my own path, I can only use explorer.

I need to type in the unc path \\computername\c: before the files so the back-burner manager can find them, (right?). I can do this with the render file by using "set path" in "asset tracking" but I cant see how to do it using solid-rocks.

I have used the render option in solid-rocks (not fly-thru wizard) before on low and medium settings with good results but with this large file I'm using the servers have errored by saying that they could not find the LC path. It is working on the preview setting.

How do I fix this?

Otherwise, this script is awesome, SOLID-ROCKS ROCKS!

Hi, and thanks for positive feedback !

I'm sorry for this problem, was sure that the classic "save as" dialog allows the typing of UNC paths. looks like i was wrong.

I'll correct that in the next build, and make the areas editable (edittext).

In waiting i suggest this tip :
- open the flythrough wizard.
- then in maxscript listener, type :
FlyLCpath = "\\ your path here"
same for other value :
FlyIMPath
Flyfinalframes

To update the Flythrough window with these paths, simply change anything into FLyWiz (for example change the flytype combo). The flyWiz will update with the typed paths.

Then they will be saved with your scene, so no need to type them again each time you relaunch SR or max.

Hope it helps, added in bugtracker ;)
