long time to render

I've working on a sauna render, all is modelled in max some items in rhino, so when I've rendered in low ,it take 25" for an image 1280x960, when I try to render it whith Interior Vray2 IM/LC quality LOW at the 4/5 pass of LC the render take to mutch time (yesterday evening I've try render at Hi resolution but the night was to short!!!!!) the machine is a double xeon whit 24 core! I've applied the optimization for material and light, so now I try to render it whitout glass ans I test the time.

the problem is the glass, do you have a recipe for a beautiful glass whith a good refraction?
