Hello SR users !
Good news, after long time testing VrayNext in both flavors, ADV and Hybrid, i finally found a way to have them both into SolidRocks !
Here's a WIP status on 2018/09/26:
- SR can now switch between the two engines with a single button located near the Render button.
- Lightcache and Color mapping parameters are managed by SR in both engines
- IPR button now works with 2 engines
- clay mode works with GPU (HYB) engine as well. Good news !
- SR can start directly in HYB or ADV mode, depends of the engine selected in the scene
todo list :
- Manage HYB engine specific params (max samples, max noise limit) and include them into preset editor
- polish presets as values have changed since vray 3.6
- prepare a separate SolidRocks for the future, dedicated to HYB engine (will be simplier and cheaper)
- add hyb options to the option panel
- modify animation wizards for hybrid engine compatibility
I do my best to make this fast and release a private beta(s) asap.
