thanks for the new update!
before i download it, and maybe even buy the full version--
1)the GI selector, did you reactivate the option to have GI turned OFF ? since some settings are still nice to use even with out GI...
2)if i buy this version, can i upgrade to the next version or do i pay everytime?
3) is there any way you can offer a 20% discount for students?

hi !
1- well no the GI on/off is not back in this build, but i'll add it if necessary.
please post for this in wishes section
2- upgrades are free until 1.xx (1.99) build for all customers
3- well perhaps can you buy a 3 or five lic pack with some friends ? you'll get more than 20% off this way

oh ok-- well.. i encourage you to make solidrocks a total vray package--
that means adding GI on or off function (when its off, all the GI features will be grayed out, so no confusion!)
when GI is off, focus will be on Image Sampling, Color Mapping, (camera controls), DMC sampler, SYstem settings and so forth... oah, and lets not forget about Caustics!
i am looking forward to version 0.9 !!!! (and my friends are too! )
