Light Cache problem

Hello everyone, I noticed that when launching a render with vraysp3a with "interior very good", the pc settings passes the render time 3\4 to calculate the cache Light.
Fpr example, if the render lasts 1 h 10 m, my pc calculates the L.C: for 50 minutes.why?
is it normal?You can improve?
my sistem is:
2xXeonQuad 5540 (16 core)+16 gb ram+ 295gtx 1890mb+1,2 Tera H.D.

Hi !
I just tried with interior scene, SR0.85a, interior, very good.
(max2010 x64 on vista64, core i7, 16gb ram)

lightcache takes 40 seconds, for a 5 minutes total render...

Your LC seems to takes infinite time to render...

Possible causes :
- use of almost white material (LC don't like that)
- non-Vray materials
- overlapping geometry (inb this case try secondary ray bias > 0, for example 0.01)

- do you have grass in the scene ? displacement ? that can be a cause
- do you have massive Vrayproxies ? (vegetation)
- while LC calculation, do you have the message "unloading geometry.." ?

please post a (part of) your final image, to have an idea.

Finally, try without SolidRocks to see if it's Solidrocks's related.
