What is demo version? was created by prashanthkp4
What does SR mean by demo version? What i mean to ask is, in the demo version it says that the maximum file resolution is 640x480. But when i access the max render dialog after closing the SR render dialog i can set to whatever resolution i want. Can anyone please solve my doubt? Thanks in advance....

Hi,
of course, once solidrocks is closed, you can do what you want with max
but, in demo version, as message says : If you try to render in a bigger resolution, SolidRocks Will NOT adjust Vray settings.
In demo version, SolidRocks handle Vray settings until 640*480 resolution. After this point it don't manage vray settings according to bigger resolutions.
Many Vray parameters are resolution dependant : DE radius, LC subdivs, Irradiance map settings, and so on...
So the demo version is a \"real\" demo version, renders beyond 640*480 needs manual vray settings...
Hope it helps
