SolidRocks vs. Flatiron?

SolidRocks vs. Flatiron? was created by dbarnard
I used SolidRocks to set up my scene, and it rendered fine. When I started using Flatiron to set up a real-time version, I got anomalies in the lighting. Weird blotchy sections that looked like a funky bump map. This happens on very curved surfaces, and only with Flatiron, not Render to Texture. Only way to get rid of them was to start with a blank scene, and do my own VRay setup.
Any ideas?

Hi,
thanks for info.
First of all i suggest to upgrade to V1 using the download menu.
Are you applying SR to scene and exit SR before using Flatiron ?

Thanks for the reply!
Further research has been done, and it turns out that the problem was Ambient Occlusion. Solidrocks was applying it, and the other test file wasn't. So it's a VRay->Flatiron problem that supposedly Vlado is working on.
Turn off AO, and all is good!
