Hi, Jérome,
I´ve downloaded the V1 of SR, and tried out the MOAZWiz, and this issues happen:
Interested in testing the 2 pass render,I followed the writen explanation in this website under features/ 3dsmax/anim MOAWIz,
SO I did the following:
1 - Entered frame 10 to 120;
2 entered a path folder to save frames;
2.1- Chose Use camera path
3 chose 2PAss render option;
4 Entered path to save IM prepass files;
5- Compute GI;
BUt when I hit Render Anim It begins to render 1st frame (in my case frame 10 of my anim) and renders black and stops at the end of it ?!??!?!!"? not moving on to the following one.
Any ideas? Merci Bien

Could a Kind soul out there please tell me what I may have missed on the process I discribed.
Or direct me to some sort of tutorial for MOAWiz, other than he very brief discription found on this website.
In order to ascertain a buy I´d like to get it to work first.

May i have more infos on your scene/platform please ?
What's your max version ?
what ethod are you using ? IM/Lc ?
I just tried on a fresh scene, and it worked fine.
Are you using network paths ?
The problem can comes from files : If MOAWiz can't find them, result can be black...
Can you send me a copy of your scene for testing ? (no need for textures, and you can also remove big objects)

Thanks for replying.
So here´re the specs:
3ds max 2012
Windows 7
Using IM with LCache : Good
Not using network Paths
Cannot send it to you right now because it´s rendering since yesterday (the old fashioned VRay way)
Could you further explain, what you mean by if MOAWiz can´t find the files.....cause it´s probably what happened, somehow lost the pathing to the IRR and LC maps.
I Have to say however, that I did manage a small portion of an anim, (10 frames long)with MOAWiz and it worked so thank you

Well perhaps SR have a crash ?
You can try to open the maxscript listener (hit F11), then launch SR, to see if there's some read lines in the listener while working.
What i can suggest is to avoid the material parsing, just to be sure :
- make a copy of your scene !
- open init/save panel
- hit the "apply optimisations to scen" buttons (materials and lights)
- got into SR options panel
- check OFF the 2 optimisation buttons "Optimize Mateiral glossies" and "optimize Lights shadows".
- then try again the flywiz.
