Irradiance Map Interpolation samples

Hello,

We have been having issues using the SR IM/LC (interior) production settings for items such as chairs and keyboards anything with small details in interior renderings.
We narrowed the issue down to the low Interpolation samples in the Irradiance Map defaults settings, the default is is 22, this is quit low as it does not get multiplied by the global multiplier.

any reason why these are set so low? We had to crank them up to a minimum of 100 to get rid of the blotchiness.

100 sounds very high value to me ;)
With 100, irradiance map will be completely blurred... so no artifacts, but no details in GI...

in fact 22 renders way faster than 100. That's why i tried to keep as value as low as possible.

note : you can edit your preset and change this value to whatever you need ;)

i'll make some tests, especially with detail enahnce, to see if your process can be robust in this case.
