Using lite version for test renders

Using lite version for test renders was created by Mick
I'd like to install the lite version of SR at the place where I work, then hopefully later I can convince them to buy it. The render size that we normally use is larger than the lite version's max size of 1280 x 960. However, I'm wondering if the lite version might still be useful for test renders. So, the question is: If I do a bunch of test renders with SR Lite and get the scene tweaked to my liking, then do a full size render without SR, would the full size render look pretty much the same as the tests, or would all the settings be different?

well, resolution dependant settings will be updated when choosing a bigger res (irmap min and max, sampling subdivs, DE radius, and so on)
the main lock of the lite version is that you can't apply SR settings to the scene.
Of course full version can do it !
you can buy a single licence for test, then i'll create a reduction coupon for the second one, just like you bought a 2-pack directly, if it helps.
