MaxScript error

Recently purchased SolidRocks 2.0.5

However, on clicking check for update, in hte About dialog. I get a MaxScript error

"unable to connect to SR server"

SR renders just fine, with zero prblems, and I am online, yet it cannot check for updates, so something its not right

Also is there a reason why I cannot access what I imagine to be, the most useful section of the forum.
"Project Status", after all since "Check for update" doesn't work, how can I check if there is anything new.

After all it does say

"Here you will find SolidRocks anouncements, new versions..."
