It would be nice to be able to render a series of frames like (0020,0025,01195,etc). I have noticed when trying to re-render bad frames using the same IR and LC though the max standard setup, the frames look different.

hmmm i think it's possible to have that feature.
But i'm surprised that re-rendering frames deals in different things..
Did you used only the step3 button to do that ?

I used both the 3 step button and tried rendering them separate where I saved the IR and LC to a specific folder. When I am out of SR and try to render the frames using the IR and LC that was saved in SR, the frames look different.
to solve the problem, I had to set up the scene using SR then close it and use Vray to render out the animations by generating it's own IR and LC.
Also, there is no way to render out Elements from within SR. So the same workflow applies.

even if you use the "prepare for farm" button ?
Elements should be renderable with SR... can you explain a bit more ?
