Lightcache mode "screen" or "world" was created by wimmer.s
Hi,
i searched for it but don't find an answer.
Please make it possible that we can choose by our own if we want "screen" or "world" mode for LC.
Using SolidRocks makes it impossible to switch to "world".
best regards,
Simon

Hello !
Yes we've made this choise when rendering still images.
but, for flywiz if you select interior scene it will switch in world mode.
Can you explain why you need that ?

When youre scene generates splotches on corners or small details you can usually enable "Retrace corners". But sometimes they are still slightly visible and you can't get rid of it if you increase the LC settings. But if you change the mode to "world" and use a smaller smaple size you can avoid it.
In the picture you see a simple wall and a metal-sheet on top of it. Under the metal it's getting darker which have some irregularity. Next, the dark areas in the orange markers should be quite the same, but the front ones loose some dark-details. For this result i have already increased the default LC settings and use "Retrace corners" but i think it is impossible to avoid it completly.
If i was able to set the mode to "world" i can adjust the smaple size till i'm happy.
Or do i miss something?
Edit: i was not able to "Add" a Image via Firefox - i had to use IE.
best regards,
Simon

hmmm..
if you change sample size(reduce), you'll need to increase LC subdivs...
i think you can stop the bug using the DE button (Irrmap detail enhance)
