ok noticed...
Have you tried (with vray) the new irradiance maps animation(prepass) and animation(rendering) modes ?
it helps alot to remove GI flickering in \"moving objects\" animations..

Hi,
seens i've the same requests
I have a 20 to 40 dual quads render farm
We have many project rendering at the same time so i can only use blackburner.
I know i'll have to render light cache localy (maybe with DR on 2 render slaves).
But for the iradiance map i'd love to use Backburner !
A brutal way would be to use Animation mode even for simple camera fly
Not really clever.
One cool stuf that could be easy done i guess would be to be able to transfer the Fly-wizard parameters to the render panel !
PS : i wonder if when i make the IR + LC in letsay 720/405 it can be used for a 1920/1080 render with no errors ?
Might be less detailed for sure I ask that because i do a lot of really big render like (3600/3600 fisheye for planetariums) and 8000/2000 for special projections
Thanks

Hi Benjamin. I'm glad to say you : welcome on board !
We meet some years ago into the cebas final render forums. I saw you somewehre with a picture of you presenting your 3d work to the french president.. was impressive, and a big encouragement for me as i started wy freelance activity at the same time.
It's nice to see you into the Vray and solidrocks community !
your idea is simple and looks efficient (transfert flywiz settings to the scene for easy BB rendering)
I'm working on that, s i'm working actually on the next SR build (1.0), inclunding Fly anim wizard into solidrocks (and also full anim wizard). I'll take account of your request and will make a button for that stuff.
About your question about IM and LC.
As you probably know, Some Vray values are resolution-dependant, following these rules :
- IM min and max values needs can be lowered by one every time you double the rendersize. (in your case, for example -4 -1 at 720/405 can be adjusted to -5 -2 at 1920*1080
- LC subdivs needs to be doubled (theorically) when you double resolution.
Of course if you're using SR it will adjust automaticcaly these values, according to the preset multipliers (you can edit your own preset via the "edit" button.
PS : i've still not received your activation.. normal ?

That is funny to meet here again
you made a wonderfull tool for Vray !!!
Wish there was the same for finalrender
I'm still on beta testing FR but I've been asked to take a huge scene made on Vray to do animation from !
Each image is rendered from 16 HD camera !!!! This is for a complex video projection.
So I need fast learning of vray
glad I found SR !!! Will save my ass.
Didn't sent my serial request yet because my computer is at my office.
+ I'll have a new workstation soon so I have to keep my 2 licences
I'm really impressed by vray so far
but it really miss a camera fly prepass mode that can be done trough backburner.
In fr each BB slave render it's own AQMC prepass file. At the end all theses files are mixed to create one unique.
Then you can run the final render pass. There is a script that automate this by using render dependencies of BB.
Hope vray allows this soon
ps : thanks for theses tips. Light cache is new to me.
