Quality and Durability of 6 Seater Corner Sofa Options

Hello everyone.

We recently moved to a larger house and now have the space to get a proper sectional. I'm torn between several brands and price points for a 6 seater corner sofa that would work in our family room. My main concern is durability since we have three kids and a dog who love lounging on furniture.

I want something that will last at least ten years without falling apart. Should I invest in a high end designer piece or are there affordable options that are equally durable? Also, what fabric types hold up best to regular use and spills?
