just in case :
- uncheck interp glossies (reflects and refracts)
- make a test render with LC+LC mode, to see if the lightcache is ok or gives splotches.
- make a render with only walls and sun, to have a look
If LC is ok, then the problem comes from irradiance map (or perhaps geometry)
feel free to send me you scene (or a part of it) at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to have a look.
You can also edit your interior preset and increase desired IM subdivs.
just in case, avoid pure white materials, limit your white at 220,220,220

Hello, Adios,
thanks for sending me the scene.
The main problem comes from a big lack of light...
Your scene is lit with only this little opening, leading to a very dark scene.
to get a correct render, the autoexpo tool have computed a 1/6s shutter speed for camera, wich is very low setting.
my suggest :
- make a vray plane over your house (with gray or white material) to help sun to bounce naturally and lit the roof
- add at least another opening somewhere and/or artificial lights into your scene.
Anyway, i've made for you a new preset named "interior_dark" with strongest LC and irrmap values to help cleaning the renders of this particular situation.
You'll find this preset into this forum, into the "preset zone" section.
