Hi Simons,
the info is on product description : (see buy section):"Compatible with 3dsMax 9_SP1 to max 2010 and Vray RC3 to 1.5 SP4a. Compatible with Vray RT."
You need to download and setup the SP1 for max 9 and SR will work fine
