Something amiss... seems very slow

Hey -
Just testing the newest build. I ran SR on part of a current job and was really surprised to see it running far slower than my default setup. I think something may be amiss in the settings somewhere?

It went from 30 seconds to over 14 minutes!

Here are three jpgs - my universal settings that I started with, then the SR using more or less default presets for "high" and "exterior Vray 2", and then one more with just default IM settings on high to verify that it wasn't just something with IM alone.

Seems very odd to me!

PS_ - The forum is insanely slow the last few times I tried to access it! Reminds me of the 14.4 modem days

That was with the exterior Vray preset - using the default IC/LM setup, sorry I will try this preset out now and get back to you.

(I am using Chrome btw: both it and Firefox are super slow on the forum for me).

With that preset it rendered in 2:08 minutes. Still slower, but much better than the LC/IM of 14 minutes. Still seems like something is off... I can send you the file if you want.

I'll send a link via email.

I use retrace as a rule now as well, so I don't think that is it. Maybe you will see something obvious in the file.
