splotchy interior rendering was created by cga
the setting is "interior vray2" with IM/LC.
the image is rendered with preview quality at 6000 pixels. also when i increase the quality settings
to "good" the splotchyness stays.
the scene is lighted by vray plane light and the vray sky.
how can i improve the standard setting?
kind regards,
kai

Hello !
Go to the SR options panel.
and be sure that "All lights" and "Plane" only are OFF into the interpolation section.
This will force your plane light to NOT be interpolated into Irradiance map.
This is longer to render, but will avoid these splotches (hope so!)
