Understand how preset are stored in .max scene file was created by ossosso
Hi!
I'd like to better understand how does SolidRock plugin manage settings storage.
In my workflow for each project I set a folder.
Automatically 3dsmax create standard subfolders.
The first project scene is normally 01.max. When the scene is complete I launch SR, change some settings accordly with my needs and then launch the render. Finally I save the scene.
When I re-open the scene and I launch SR all settings are the same as before closing the scene. It's all right till here.
During workflow process and clients suggestions, I open scene 01.max, make changes (when I say changes I mean both geometry, shade, lights... changes and Solid Rock changes, maybe resolution, GI method and so on), then I save it like 02.max
Now what I'd like to know... inside the same project folder... each scene (01.max and 02.max) has its own SR settings when I launch the plugin? They are correctly separated as I really need?
I hope I was clear enough.
Thank you for any clarification!

hello !
yes, each max file have it's own SolidRocks parameters.
so if your scene was saved with SR in IM/LC and production quality, it will reopens with same settings.
in short : one max file = one solidrocks settings.
