AA Question was created by jbrasmartins
Hi Subburban,
I have a question concerning the AA settings of Solidrocks.
I've been optimizing a render manually to compare with solidrocks, and what happens is that I can't figure out a way to have crisp edges in the render...
Main issue here is that even if i put BF+LC in UltraQuality the edges never get real crisp.
Have any idea how I can solve this? I've stored the render passes in VFB I can share it with you!
Thanks.

Sure;
Main issue here was that if I let solidrocks decide all issues in subdivs and GI and lights and because of that I had to decide between a noisy render or a render with large render times...
What I found was that if you reset vray and put all values to 5 (lights subdivs, material subdivs, GI, among others - it's easy if you use VMC plugin) and launch solidrocks using BF+LC in Special BF preset in Verygood quality, from there you get a nice AA from start. Then, instead letting solidrocks control the remaining issues you go through each render pass and increase one by one the values. But in this last step instead of going from 5 to 8 to 16 to 32 you have to go in smaller numbers and progressively keeping track of the render times.
Well, don't know if it makes sense, but I managed to solve the issue... hope it helps.
