I'm pleased to announce the release of SolidRocks V2 !!
After months of hard work, this new build handles the latest features introduced with Vray 3.5 !!
It also works fine now with 3dsMAX2017
SolidRocks for 3dsMAX and V-Ray
build : 2.0.5 (02/12/2016)
requirements :
- 3dsMAX 2010 to 3DSMAX 2017
- Vray 1.5Rcx to V-Ray 3.5
Changelog : (since 1.9.5)
New features/improvements:
- IPR integration in SR interface (V-Ray 3.5 feature)
- Adaptive lights option in V-Ray 3.5 (ON by default)
- Main : Denoiser integration ! (New "denoise" button)
- Main : Incremental autosave is back (rename Elements as well)
- Options : New "User Color mapping" option. In this case SR does nothing about Color mapping.
- Options : New "LightCache Store Direct light" option. ON by default. Render Way faster !
- Main : Simplified Gamma. Now it's only sRGB or "user" (see preview panel)
- Main : Now info Panel shows correct values with VBAA and Autopilot
- Presets : raised precision to 4 digits for precise progressive values tweak
- Presets : Optimised presets for V-Ray 3.5 (better noise thr values)
- Interpolation options removed (because removed in V-Ray 3.5)
Solved Bugs:
- No more hang on SR start if no internet conncection. Check for updates is now manual (see SolidRocks button)
- Scene may render longer if SR settings applied. Solved (seems to be)
- V-Ray 3.3+ goodies had bad init on SR launch. Solved.
