No it's actually the other way around as i found out. You need to manually override the system default gamma and set gamma to 1.0 to get the same appearance in Photoshop. Maybe I have some setting wrong in my Max system to get me into all this trouble. I seem to be the only one experiencing all this confusion. You could perhaps do a complete tutorial and demonstrate exactly what settings Max should have in order to work with Solidrock and gamma values.
