Hi there -
First off - this thing is amazing.
I love it and suddenly rendering is fun again and the results fantastic and fast - I realise now how little I understood about vray's internal settings.
However I notice that Solidrocks 'hangs' on exit of a render on the last bucket for about 30 seconds and I notice some "flickering" in the right hand max menu as it does this (The flickering looks almost like changing instances if you have say 500 of them and max "flickers" as the max ripples through the changes) - it flickers for around 30 seconds (everything freezes and then comes back) - Its not absolutely a dealbreaker but if you are finessing a render it could cost you over the course of a day.
I'm Vray sp3-max64-8 core with 16gb ram.

hi james, amd thank you for positive comments
the hanging at the end of render depends of the quantioty of elements inside it.
if the auto subdivs and shadozs are "on" then before rendering SR performs a loop on all objects/instances in the scene to apply optimized parameters, and performs back your settings at the render end... so you can disable these optimisations in SR parameters to avoid this, but shadows and glossies zill not be affected by SR, and your personnal settingsd will be applied.
in a next biulf i'll try to make these loops in c++ to help them to go faster

- so it is "normal" - that is fine (frankly for the speed and memory improvements solidrocks brings it could take three times as long and I would still be cool with it) - It is a big scene but I thought it might have been something to do with atmospherics or something I had done. Happy days.
