Hi,
I have been facing this reoccurring problem each time i try to net render the radiance map for a fly through using vray spawner, basically the LC gets calculated locally on my pc then sends the LC to the rest of the farm and for the first few frames all pc's are calculating the RM (8 pc's in total)but once it gets passed few calculated frames it simply stops using the farm, with each frame I see less and less buckets and less RM being sent to other pc's until none are sent, I only see the local machine calculating and as a result it renders slower with each pass, no errors on vraylog window and based on that log the radiance map is sent to the farm and it does start rendering but only for the first few frames and with each frame less and less Rm is being sent until none is sent. As for my settings I used a variety of setting ranging from medium to very good with same result while using multi frame incremental option under radiance map and fly through for LC saved on a shared folder on the network. I also checked the calculated LC and RM and used them for rendering and the animation looks fine so I know the LC and RM are good but i am curious to know the reason behind this, any ideas? and by the way i tried this on other scenes with same result.

hi MKD..
Do you mean that you're trying to make a flythrough with 0.85 ?
0.85 is made for stills renderings...
Is your problem related to SR (same behavior when solidrocks is off ?)
If yes, there's something wrong with your spawners on slaves.. (maybe a port needs to be opened ?)
want to have a test ride on flythrough anim tool when it'll be ready ?

I do not think it's an SR issue since i tried with and without SR with same result and backburner works just fine when i render, it might be the spawner or port issue as you said but why would it render the first couple of frames using the farm then stops? plus i get no errors on the vray log window all servers do render initially. I did try your free animation wizard on my local pc and it works great and i am very curious to see your next update including the animation tool so yes i am very interested i am curious to know if you faced any issues using spawner to calculate RM animation pass on a network.

hmm... perhaps a timeout problem ?
that's bad that the Vray log says nothing...
Perhaps can you post your pb into th official Vray forum ?
