Does SolidRocks fully take over Gamma? was created by gksolid
Hello..
I've been using SR v0.98.9 with Vray 1.50SP5 and I ran into something.
When I have SolidRocks open, doesn't it completely take over and change the render settings by itself including gamma? I mean, shouldn't I get the same render in the frame buffer, regardless if I press "render" from the frame buffer window or within SR? Because right now, When I press 'render' directly from the frame buffer I get a brighter render compared to when I render from within SR. Is that normal?
I've enabled gamma 2.2 from the Gamma/LUT Setup, with Input gamma 2.2 and Output gamma 1.0
I'm using exponential color mapping with bright multiplier=dark multiplier=1.0 and gamma 2.0
I've also enabled the "Linear Workflow" from the color mapping dialog, since it seems to restore the dark colors when I import some model or an already made material.
I've enabled 'gamma' in SR and entered 2.2 in the field below...
