Hi Subburb,
got the same problem - both with reflection and refraction glossiness values.
1) problems occur when rendering still images (didn't work on an animation recently)
2) which option do you mean? In material options? In light cache setting?

neither option does any difference...
After rendering is stopped or finished, in the phase where solidrocks adjust all changed settings back to original values, it somehow changes those values wrong...

OK another thing - when turning off "auto glossies subdivs" in solidrocks the error is gone

Hi,
thanks - it's good news, because this is the cause of many crazy situations on deadline days.
Do you have any advice on what could be causing this bug so I can avoid it?
In some scenes nothing like this occurs, but today I have one interior deadline and found out at least 3 materials screwed that I didn't notice on preview renders
