Hi Brenticus.
Well the tool for managinf moving objects animation (animwizard) is still in progress.
are you using the animation/prepass system when trying with irradiance map ? (needs a prepass for IM)
Well the preset i've posted here is independant of method.
So you need to choose manually the universal method to use this preset.
As SolidRocks don't manage directly yet animations, you'll need to write SR settings to the vray scene. To do this, go into the init/paste panel of solidrocks, then choose "apply Vray to SR on exit". Then close solidrocks.
Your Vray is now ok for rendering your anim. save your scene (+1). Then you can use backburner at this stage to render your anim.
note : choose lightcache in single frame mode , just in case. it need to be computed for each frame.
hope it helps !

I've tryed it. In my case twice slower than with exterior Vray2. My scene is a ride inside an aircraft engine inside ride ! Full of glossy metals ....
I'll test it on an more conventional exterior

Only the 10 first subdivs are made by the AA, the rest is managed by the DMC sampler, instead of the "real" universal method wich handle all subdivs into AA.
This one is faster, very very good AA, but more grain in dark areas. Sort of compromize.
