SolidRocks is processing... window

SolidRocks is processing... window was created by bolba
Hi,
I'm trying 1.1 Lite.
"SolidRocks is processing..." window appears every-time you begin rendering process, even when materials were not changed at all.
Even 1-2 secs before render launch every render session is quite annoying.
Can we optimize materials manually and turn off that window?
Thanks.

Hi Bolba,
Sure, you can do that !
SR is by default non destructive. That means, that each time you launch a render, it parses all materials and make changes, do the render, and reverse the material changes.
You can also apply this material optimisations one big time, and forever no need, then, to parse for each render, as materials are already optimised.
Here's the procedure :
- make a copy of your scene because process is not reversible.
- launch SR
- open init/save panel
- click on both buttons : Apply optimisations to scene for "materials", then "lights".
- ok, now all materials and lights in your scene have been optimised for solidrocks rendering.
- now, open options panel
- in optimisation section, set to OFF the 2 buttons "Auto Glossies Subdivs" and "Auto VrayShadows subdivs".
You can now render without the annoying thing
note : if you add/tweak some materials, think to update optimisations using the init/save panel again.
Hope it helps !!
