Animation use camera path was created by blinkimage
Normally (in our pre-SR days!) we used to set the LC and the IRmap passes (for an animated camera) to use the camera path.
It seems that SR still renders every nth frame for the IRmap. Any reason for this? Wouldn't it be quicker/cleaner to employ the 'use camera path' of vray?

The use camera path in SR is introduced ONLY for moving objects animation.
I personnaly do't like this feature, which can became a trap :
as mentionned into Official vray forums, use camera path is suitable ONLY if camera have a little movement.
but if camera does a full 360, or a long path, then use camera path can't be used.
I made some tests, and i confirm this.
That's why FLYwiz don't have this feature : it's more or less useless.
The only case when it can be used is if camera move just a bit, and in this case, the classic methos (n frames) will also go very fast as well.

Thankyou - I wasn't aware of the limitations of using camera path.
