[Solved] Gamma bitmaps problem

[Solved] Gamma bitmaps problem was created by mrfreihr
Hi,
I got a problem when rendering an animation on several computers. Some of them rendered all washed out bitmaps but clean procedural shaders. The whole pictures are ok, only the few bitmaps used have what seems to be input/output gamma issues.
I used 3dsmax 2014 and Backburner on our local network, and the FlyWiz tool (no moving objects, only cameras) with following settings :
-> Fly type : Exterior / Cam speed : Walk / LC and IM pre-calculated before rendering
-> Method IM / LC (default preset) / Exterior / Quality : Good /
Gamma enabled and set to 2.2, with Affect Colors and materials checked / AO checked / 1920*1080
As this point and due to a short deadline, I'll delete and re-render the spoiled pictures while excluding from the farm the problematical computers , but I'd like to find a way to avoid this issue in the future.
Thanks for your help,
Jérôme : greetings from Pessac

Hello !
Hmmm that's weird stuff here.. it's a very old subbject..
is the result same when not using SR ?
Au plaisir, cher voisin !

Ouch, I'm sorry, I forgot to update the topic.
I solved the problem, and it wasn't SR-related at all.
The last service pack from Autodesk wasn't installed on the problematic PCs... making them rendering bitmaps with a slightly different gamma than the rest of the farm.
You're sometimes so focused on deep problems that you forget the basic things to check.
(A big thanks to AD for the last version of Backburner which doesn't notify anymore when there are incompatible versions, missing plugins, etc. Great. )

That was ironical.
You'll notice an other great feature of BB 2015 (up to date, of course), the monitor crashes when you want to sort your frames (in the Task Summary tab) using the columns.
Related to my problem, it would have been very useful to list the wrong frames rendered by the 2 pc instead of searching for them between 15000 frames...
