solid rocks does not change the msr settings was created by mitviz
Hi, vlado recently posted a new video tutorial for vray 3.2 in which he changes the msr settings to get better render times, i see in solidrocks that this is not happening, why so? is there no need?

Hello !
Vlado approach is quite interesting, i'll try to include it, but i need to make some testings and adjustements of the core of SR to inlcude.

ok but only if its fast, it is interesting but so far its not such a fast method, would be great if solidrocks would fine tune it

on some scenes Vlado's method is bit faster, but on other SR is WAY faster !
for example the spheres scene here : www.cggallery.com/tutorials/vray_optimization/
SR (prod) and Vlados method renertimes are indientical, but less grain in SR render, and better elements as well.
so, no hurry.
note : i Do love the Vlado's approach.
