You can use the 1.51 presets in in 1.65. I have that for some existing jobs...no need to revert to 1.5.

Should I save presets of 1:51 in 1.65?
How can I do this?

Yes...just copy then from the 1.5 install and re-name them so you don't override them.

Thanks Eyepiz for your help.
of course i take account of all these remarks for the next build.
probably include 2.4 presets and 3.0 presets.
Eyepiz, if you can make me a short recap, i'm your man
first of all, reverse the bucket size mode like in older sr versions.

it was of great help.
I'll certainly add.
I believe we can add a custom configuration to SR.
We should have the chance to use settings SR. and then be free to change some value.

you actually can change almost every v-ray value in SR, you can edit a preset (edit preset button) and change IM, Lc, BF, DMC sample, AA sample values as you need.
you simply have to say the value desired for medium, and for production. SR will compute all other steps
