Render Quality Issue was created by design18
Hi,
There is render issue regarding change in the vray versions..
Attached are the files rendered in Vray 3.5 version and Vray 3.6 Version....
Image in vary 3.5 looks good but in vray 3.6 version there is rendering issue...( same issue in vray next and vray 5 also...only in vray 3.5 it renders fine)
In both the versions vray settings are same...and same file...
Please resolve the problem since want to move to vray3.6 or above..

Hello !
Not sure if it's solidrocks related. did you tried without SolidRocks to see if the problem is the same ?
I think it's subpixel related. You can try switch on/off subpixel mapping (and clamp as well) into the output panel of solidrocks to see if it's better ?
In older version of Vray subpixel was on by default, in newer versions it has been deactivated by default?

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestions... I tried your advice but didn't worked for me..
Even I guess its not related to solidrocks....but wanted to know what might be the reason for this issue....Hope you can find it for me...

Hi again,
I tried your advice of subpixel mapping and clamp also...but it didn't worked for me..
But I tried Adaptive lights option OFF ( which was ON by default ) and it solved my problem...
But render time is more in Adaptive lights OFF
( render time 1min 23 sec Adaptive lights ON
render time 2min 30 sec Adaptive lights OFF)
Can you please tell me why is this Adaptive lights option and is there any chance that we can control the parameter of this Adaptive lights Option..

Hello ! Adaptive light is a mechanism wich try to avoid useless work for rendering.
When set to off, all lightingcomputations are made. It's essentially useful when you have MANY lights into your scene. For simple lighted scenes, it's better to set it off, even if rendertimes are longer.
