Disable Solidrocks save feature

Hi Jerome,

Hope things are well.

This save feature is driving us nuts. Please please have a way to disable. We liked the _RGB much more than the issues we now face.

Can't you make SR not detect about save settings/path? or at least the option.

When following your way, sure it works with JPG, but PNG we get the famous PNG error.

Please help!

hello !
the bindable"SR render" action is here since 1.6.5.
In this build png issue is solved, too.

ok i'll try to see how i can answer best to your questions, but i need first to be sure you're using the 1.6.5.

Hi Jerome,
Can confirm the PNG error no longer occurs in 1.6.5, thank you.

Will the save feature be staying as it is? We prefer to have the RBG label as it identifies its the diffuse layer and not say a composite which would have no suffix. We also script based on the RGB value in Photoshop therefore our script no longer works.

Cheers Buddy.

Hi Again, i've introduced this save feature to match exactly what you put into the text. But, finally, why not simply activate the vray save feature, with RGB naming.
I'll try to find a workaround on that.

Hi Jerome,

Sorry to bring back a pretty old post but did you happen to do any changes to the way files are saved ?

FYI we're using the build 1.72F and Solidrocks by default turns off the Save RGB in the frame buffer when we'd like to use this one instead of the one from max (we really like having RGB_color in the filename. + We created some scripts in photoshop that actually require to have RGB_color in the filename...)

Is there a way to just add a button to check/uncheck that option ?

Thanks !

Chris
