Hello, SolidRocks users !
I'm working actively on SR 1.4 (Max version), with new features, debugs, and Vray3 compatibility and presets.
As usual, i try to keep as simple as possible the SolidRocks interface to have only essential things in it and avoid tons of buttons.
I'm interested to know if you're using the "Autosave" feature of SolidRocks ?
- If yes, please tell me if somthing is missing in this tool.
- if not, i'm interested to replace it with 2 buttons : elements on/off to set render elements on or off. It's useful as for test renders it have to be off, but for production, needs to be set to "ON" again, and so on. So a clear button, near the main Render button will be useful to activate/deactivate elements in one single click, and as well as an instant check to be sure they are ON when suddenly you have a doubt after 1h of rendering...
Another button is interesting me, but gives a lot of work : a complete SR setting by camera (resolution, method, preset, quality, etc....)+ why not an associated scene state.
This should be a ggod start for an intergrated, easy to use "SolidRocks batch render tool"
What do you think ?

I'm not using the Autosave feature. I like the idea of a batch render tool!

I never use it, I usually keep the VFB History open and use it to save drafts.
I like the idea of that element button I often forget to re-activate it.
Scene states would be awsome but isn't a major feature? Simple things like having the LC/IR/RGB path all setup depending on the camera would be brilliant already.

very nice idea Cladi !
Since polishing the save feature, bit complicated due to different behaviors if using max or vray vfb.

Edit : in 1.5 works fine, good idea
but..increasing, adding numbers to names/renderings gone.
Why ?
