Batch Render-Multiple Camera
subburb wrote: if some extra time : try to include a new algo wich pay attention of glossiness for each material and finetune subdivs, depending on the value
in resume, i'm working on all things wich can be annyonning/considered as bugs, and when it'll be ok, then, next step : more comfort !, settings by camera, manage displace and caustics quality settings, new "white render" tool, just like clay, but keep all materials with their properties, only changing the diffuse layer to white. It can leads of beautiful renders.
Thank for all your support, and requests !
Hi Jerome!
Thanks for the 1.65 update I've been using it daily and it's rock solid! I wanted to see if a few features like the "white render tool" and the "new algo wich pay attention of glossiness" would be in the next update, hopefully soon

Any news on a Batch rendering tool or SR2? there's a discussion on the vray forums on how much we need a better Batch rendering tool because the Max one is crappy.

It's planned, but not for next update.
It's quite a lot of work in fact.
this is my goal for 2.0 build of SR.
Actually working hard on adaptive subdivisions depending on glossiness, and finally drives me on different Vray settings that seems VERY fast !! i'm stressing the method at this moment to see if it can lead on most of scenes....
if you want i'll publish an experimental preset to have a test drive on it, and to grab feedback from users will help me a lot to polish it (or gargbage...)

I don't know what it is, but for interior renderings I cant beet the 1.5 presets for a good balance between quality and speed.
I think the material subdivs may be to aggressive in 1.6 and 1.7.
