hi !
Yes Animation Wizard is planned. It's the main Goal for the 1.0 release.
Gives promising results actually, both on flythrough and full anims, but the hard job is to make a simple, easy and efficient GUI (user interface).
The goals for the incoming 0.6 are :
1 - rendertimes improvements, using several actually unused features (store lights in irrmap, use interpolated glossies, reducing AA settings when resolution raiseup, etc.. (Thanks to the big post on CGarchitect forum, and Gread ideas/suggestions from VrayMasters).
2 - ability to make manual deep configuration of solidrocks, and possibility for users to share their config files.
2.5 - prepare at least 3 \"factoryrender\" presets : Exterior, studio and interior.
3 - instant 1 click environment generation : exterior(1Vraysun, 1VraySky, 1VrayPysCam), studio (room, 3 lights, 1 VrayPhyscam)
4 - add some kindOf Vlado's \"universal settings\" mode (DMC + Lightcache). I'm not sure actually, because it complexify a lot the points 1 and 2 , actually in dev.
Hope it answer to your question.

Yes it kinda does, atleast that is in the \"to-do\" list, which is great to know.
Another thing, im not 100% on SR yet, but a rendertime setting, although i know quality = rendertime, it would be nice to control quality through render cost, since sometimes rendertime is crucial at short deadlines.
Cheers for a great program! (ill have to buy it soon when i find my wallet:P)

héhé..TY !
I'll try to add a \"fast & acceptable\" preview button for big hurries...
more or less, each quality level in SR brings to an increase of 1.5*rendertime.
for example, if u have a medium render wich takes 1mn, it will take 1m30s at good,2m25 at very good, etc..
note that it really depends of the scene, especially for very good to ultra levels, which uses Detail enhancement in irrmap.
On 0.6, you'll have possibility to tell SR to use, or not, DE for each quality level.

Thanks, i'll keep that in mind, with the increase in render times.
I usually use the Production setting. and another thing, for us interested, could you write a small tooltip or something on each of the settings so we can read quickly what it does? like the Detail Enhancement.

ok it will be done
You can already just open the render panel, and see \"in live\" changes made by SR when you change quality/resolution.
