Redshift Support? was created by talleman21
Hello,
I was just wondering if there have been any discussions on support for Redshift? I've been using this plugin for Vray for quite some time, and really enjoy the speedup. Since Redshift is very similar in the way that it handles sampling, I might be a good candidate for SolidRocks.
Thanks!

I'm also current beta tester of Redshift, it look like very similar to VrayC4D and I was thinking about SolidRocks to support it. If you can, please start developing for RedshiftC4D, because it's going to be huge release this year (2017) with official RedshiftC4D GPU render and many settings can be adjusted over the same idea, I would even say, you don't have to do much work, just re-work existing stuff and adapt to Redshift.

Hmmm you're probably right.. !
I just tested Redshift, and it seems to be very effective, even with my quadro M4000 wich is absolutely not the best card for CUDA power.
And it seems to be important amount of settings wich probably will need some simplification !
Let me think about it and dig deeper in it.

@subburb - yes I think you right, Redshift is going to be new leader soon. People from Octane C4D and Cycles C4D are going to switch to Redshift soon, later this year when it'll be released. SolidRocks going to get new wave of users once it'll me RedShift compatible, many users want to switch from Octane C4D to Redshift because RS doesn't have problem with noise, in Octane you can't do much of animations because noise is really big issues in Octane and Cycles. RS is the best!
P.S. You can also send email to RS developers to get early access, like I have. Just send email who are you and they'll send you code.
