Scene opened in V-Ray 3.3 renders extremely slowly was created by k-ram
Hello and thank you for a terrific plug-in! Until recently we have been using Max2015 and SolidRocks 1.65 which have been working smoothly. The other day I upgraded to MAX2016 and SolidRocks 1.95, opened the scenes that rendered fast and smooth on the previous versions and discovered that these scenes now are rendering extremely slow. I am using the same presets (as in 1.65) and the new V-ray 3.3 features without changing materials, lighting or other scene elements. This is specifically a problem with (complex) interior scenes, transparent materials that previously rendered fast can now be very slow. Before I start to dive in to the different settings, is there anything specific I should look for?

Hello !
To get the same behavior than before, i suggest to set OFF all the vray 3.3 features.
Solidrocks will compute by itself the subdivs and give you the same result than before
Hope it helps,

After turning off all the new V-Ray 3.3 features, render time went down by 50% and the quality increased tremendously. I think I need to dive deeper into this...

Hi, just turn everything off under the "VRay 3.3 + goodies" tab
