SO if all the vray 3.3 goodies makes the render very slow (i also turned it off and rendering go very quick) why we need it for? and why isn't it turned off in solidrocks by default?
Thanks.
Roy

Hello Roysgi, sorry for delay..
Well fortunately SR is still better with its settings in some kind of scenes than Vray 3.3 in full Auto mode.
Especially when delaing with lot of details, as SR tries to make AA settings as low as possible, and all blurred things are managed by the DMC sampler.
In Vray 3.3, AA settings are strong (like min1, max24).
That's great to fight grain, but it can be very slow on grass or very tiny geometry when SR is faster here.
Vray 3.3 goodies is on by default to take benefit and discover of all new stuff coming with new V-Ray version. But maybe next build will set it off by default.
