Disable Solidrocks save feature

@DanceM
"saveRGB" is unchecked but is still saved (with the name entered in solidrocks) at rendertime.
technically the final pass is saved by max itslef to keep the correct filename (and not adding this _RGB thing).
i just tried, even using the "F9" button, if Save and elem options are ON in solidrocks, frames are correctly saved.
so what's wrong ? i guess i've missed something here.
again, to have full SR features, you MUST use the RENDER button. If not, a lot of rendertime optimisations are missing...
you can reduce SR to gain space, using the "compact UI" button.
This will show a very minimal windows with the render button inside.
note : in coming build, SR will be annyonning every time you don't use Render button...
In same time, i'm trying to bind the F9 adn the Shift+Q to SR rendering, but there's technical limitations... When render is started, you cannot change material and lights subdivs.. that's why.
What you can do is to "apply SR to scene" from time to time, and then you can use safely the F9 button (and shift+q)
i'm trying to add these options into SR (actual selected viewport, or locked cam)

Ok i've changed some minor stuff, looks like i've inverted the "post" button feature.
Cladi, would you please try, if saving in EXR, applying "post" in this case ?
thanks for all these posts, looks like i've found amistake ..
i hurry for making nex build, some stuff to do remaining.

"final pass is saved by max itslef to keep the correct filename (and not adding this _RGB thing)."
".RGB_color" text is not so bad, when you have a lot of render elements for composing.
"i just tried, even using the "F9" button, if Save and elem options are ON in solidrocks, frames are correctly saved"
If you turn ON Vray VFB "Save RGB" option, if will work fine with F9 render. But if you restart SR, and press F9 again, and you will not get RGB image saved at end of render. And that is killing me, I am turning SaveRGB ON on every scene start or SR restart.
"you can do is to "apply SR to scene" from time to time, and then you can use safely the F9 button (and shift+q)"
Yeah, I used that button in previous SR versions. It works like:
1. Press "Apply material optimizations";
2. Press "Apply light optimizations";
3. annoying "...have been optimized";
4. Press OK
Done!
But now it is single button, and that how it works for me:
1 Press "Apply SR to scene and close";
2 "Are you sure?";
3 Press YES
4 "...have been optimized";
5 Press OK
6 SR closing, so I need to restart SR;
7 waiting for SR panels showing...
8 moving SR windows to previous/usual position;
9 now opening Render Setup window;
10 turning Save File OFF
11 turning Vray Save RGB ON
Done!
In that way I can use F9 for single fast/draft renders, without mouse clicking somewhere, and Shift+Q for full renders and animations. But there so many clicks, so I simply setup Light&Mat subdivs manually on creation, and working without SR optimization.
"trying to bind the F9 and the Shift+Q to SR rendering, but there's technical limitations"
I understand and agreed with you - it is not possible to do it. Only way is to put separated hotkey for SR RENDER button. Or simply keep SR Light&Mat setting after render finished. Than, we will need only to use RENDER button once after Quality-Slider change, and after that F9 can be used.
" SR will be annyonning every time you don't use Render button..."
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!................ fell to the ground and died...
Maybe somebody loves SR RENDER button, but not me. It is much more easier for me to push F9, when hand on a keyboard (and my left hand is always on a keyboard), than to start searching for button, move cursor there and click. And you know that cool PC monitors, with 2560x1600 resolution, when all interface buttons are soooo small...
PS: now as example, I want to change light multiplier. Clicking on light, click on multiplier input, putting hands on a keyboard, typing new value, press Enter & F9. Ohh, no.. It is not working that way. I need to put hand on mouse, search for SR RENDER button, point and click on it.

lol i don't wanted you to fall on the ground.. !
Some users are no aware of all this technical stuff.. they save pngs ,use SR render button, and don't event see the difference between f9, sr render button, Shift+q.
I fight every day with my students to learn them these differences.. not so evident.
they hit f9 every time, and say : why this is not the view i expected ? lol.
ok, let's find a workaround.
If i made the render button as bindable macroscript, then you can bind it to every key you want, then maintain the alert message for newbies, does it sounds good ?

We can try this. It may be very usefull. But it will be used instead Shift+Q, like to render full animation sequence, and not as F9, like to render single frame without saving to file. So F9 functionality will be in demand anyway.
As for me, all I need is active option in Vray VFB - "Save RGB" instead "Save File", on SR start. And maybe simple button, like "Apply SR optimizations", without popups. Nothing else. SR (and you Jerome, of course) doing good job anyway.
PS: a couple of thoughts about "SR will be annyonning every time you don't use Render button...":
- it will be not annoying, if it will not ask to press OK button, and message will autoclose in 3-5 seconds;
- or if there will be option "disable all warning/info messages", for experts, of course

I have attached a screenshot of my setup. I always apply "post". This button is doing weird stuff with the new gamma selector by the way, when applied "post" the selector turns to "color mapping and gamma" (which is not correct) but turns back to "color mapping only" when you render (which is correct so I don't mind).
I'm using 3dsmax 2014, SR 1.51 and Vray 2.4.
I've done a few test with post on and off.
If "post" is off, the render saved by Vray Frame Buffer is washed out and the one saved by Max is doubled washed out ^^. It is due to the fact that I need to save my exr in "override gamma 1", but max save feature doesn't allow this anymore (great stuff autodesk). the Vray Frame buffer save feature on the other hand does allow it.
So, my problem comes from the solidrock "..." button that is linked to the default max saving file feature and not the the Vray frame buffer "Browse..." button.
If VFB is selected in Solidrocks options, then the "Save" button and the "..." button should be link to the VFB save feature.
I don't have Dance M problem with F9 but other people in my office do (I like pressing the render button : p) a bindable macro could be nice.
