Great stuff, Thanks.
I'd be thrilled to try the new build.

Hi Jerome!
I prefer to save "Render Output" RGB image, in JPEG format as example, and also to save at the same time ALL channels + RGB channel (in EXR format) in the "Frame Buffer" settings. But last version of SolidRocks always turning off "Save RGB" option in "Frame Buffer" at every SR start. It is really annoying for me. Is it possible to keep both "Save" option ON, AND is it possible to save All channels + RGB channel in Frame Buffer section, without saving file in "Render Output" section?
In other words, are there way to keep user "Save File" & "Separate Channels" settings unchanged on SR start?
Thanks!
PS: other important thing is when you press F9 for quick render, Vray saving all channels into the files, and "Save File" saving only if you are pressing "Render" button. So when I need to save one frame from animation to do composing test on a still frame, I need to turn off animation OR turn save option in VFB settings OR press Save All button in VFB window. And without SR I only pressing F9 and getting all channels + RGB image saved without any manipulations.

Hello !
when you launch SR, it "reads" if you're using the max or vray frame buffer, and if you've entered a filename for saving.
i assume you're using the Vray frame buffer.
At SR start, SR auto adjusts with your scene saving settings.
If you've already asked for a separate render channels, then you'll see the filename in SR, under the "render" button, and the "save" is activated. Same behavior for render elements.
You can manage savings directly from solidrocks. you can change the filename here, and manage if the next render will be saved or not, using the "save" button, and using the "elem" button.
IMPORTANT NOTE : When using SolidRocks, you MUST use the "render" button inside SolidRocks and NOT the F9 (or shift+Q). If you don't do that, all SR automations will not happen.
I'll add an alert message in next builds for that.
please tell me if it's better when you use the "render" button inside SR.

Using only Vray VFB.
Yes, I understand, that SR+3dsmax will save RGB image IF I render with SR RENDER button. But I am not using RENDER button, only F9 and sometimes Shift+Q for render and camera switching. Look at my my desktop and you will understand, that it is not easy to hit this small SR RENDER button every five minutes. And I need RGB+elements saving for direct transfer to the composing software. I am always doing quick & draft renders with all channels saving.
My main problem is to have "Save render channels" + "Save RGB" + "Save alpha" (in Vray Frame buffer) options turned ON. So when I starting scene all this options is ON. After SR starts, "Save RGB" is OFF, and (useless for F9 button render) "Save File" (in "Render Output") option is ON.
All I need is to ask SR to ignore "Save RGB" & "Save File" options on SR start.
PS: if I changing SR settings "Save" or "Elem", SR only turning all needed options OFF.

Hey there,
I digress from my original post but I'm now having a new issue with the save feature. It's probably due to the 3DSmax save feature more than SR save feature to be honest but who knows.
Anyway, my renders looks alright if saved with the vray frame buffer save RGB option on, but look washed out if saved with SR save feature.
Let take two examples with Vray frame buffer and a wirecolor pass, all saved as .exr half float :
1.Solidrocks Save button ON, VFB ON, "Save RGB" OFF, "Save Alpha" ON
result.exr (wrong gamma, need to use sRGB color in AFX)
result.Alpha.exr (correct gamma)
result.VRayWireColor.exr (correct gamma)
2.Solidrocks Save button ON, VFB ON, "Save RGB" ON, "Save Alpha" ON
result.exr (wrong gamma, need to use sRGB color in AFX)
result.RGB_color.exr (correct gamma)
result.Alpha.exr (correct gamma)
result.VRayWireColor.exr (correct gamma)
Do you have any idea?

Hi Cladi!
Yeah, I had the same situation, when sometimes "3dsmax" saved renders with different gamma, than "vray" RGB saving, but I simply start to use Vray RGB saving, and forgot about it.
What 3dsmax version you have? If if <2014 check Output gamma settings in Perfernences>Gamma and LUT. I am always set 1.0 there.
