Honestly surprised at how much less waste we're generating already

I just wanted to share a quick update because I know a few people in this forum have been curious about making the sustainability shift. I run a small operation in Ajman and a couple months ago I started testing reusable plastic totes for my regular B2B deliveries, and I've been kind of shocked at how much of a difference it's made. I used to go through stacks of cardboard boxes every week they'd pile up in the back, I'd have to break them down, arrange for recycling pickup, all of that. Now for those regular clients, I just drop off the totes, pick up the empties from last time, and the whole cycle is so much cleaner and simpler. I've been wanting to explore better solutions for environmentally friendly handling for a while but I was nervous about the upfront cost and whether the logistics would be a headache. Honestly, the hardest part was just making the decision to try it. I found an article about businesses in the Gulf making the shift to reusable systems and it gave me a roadmap for starting small. I'm still using cardboard for my occasional customers but I'm already thinking about how I can expand the reusable system further. For anyone who's been on the fence about trying this, I'd say just pick one route or one set of regular customers and test it out. The waste reduction alone has been really satisfying to see. Anyone else here made a similar shift and found creative ways to expand it beyond the initial pilot stage?
