Hi everyone. I picked up a printer at an office clearance, decent model, works fine, but I want to service it properly rather than run it until it dies. The user documentation covers loading paper and not much else. What I need is the maintenance schedule and the procedures for replacing the consumable parts that are not cartridges. Does that level of documentation exist publicly, or is it restricted to authorised service centres? It is a mid range office model, a few years old, and it has clearly been well used.

What you want is the service manual, which includes maintenance intervals, page counts for the wear parts and the actual replacement procedures.
