How fast can an Instagram downloader save a video?

I was trying to save a few Instagram videos before a trip, and I got surprised by how quickly some tools worked. Others took longer, even though the videos seemed fairly similar. I started wondering whether the difference was caused by the video size, my internet connection, or the downloader itself. Some longer videos also seemed to take more time, while shorter clips were usually ready much faster. Does download speed usually depend on the video size or the downloader itself? I’m curious what factors normally make the biggest difference.

I noticed the difference when I was saving several travel videos one evening. The shorter clips were ready almost immediately, but a couple of longer ones took noticeably more time. I also tried SnapTik and the process was fairly quick for the clips I tested. In my experience, download speed depends on a few things at once, including the video length, file quality, server response, and your own connection. I usually wait for one file to finish before starting a bunch of others, especially on my phone. It also helps to check the file size before saving a long video. I think testing one short clip first gives you a good idea of how quickly a particular downloader will handle the rest.

I’ve had different results depending on the time of day and the type of video. Short clips tend to finish quickly, while larger files naturally take longer. I also noticed that a strong Wi-Fi connection makes the process feel much smoother than using weaker mobile data.
