Hi. I own a small cafe in Everett, and last night a supply line under the espresso bar let go. The dining room floor was covered in water when my manager opened this morning. We're closed today, which hurts, and I need to reopen as fast as possible without cutting corners on drying. Does anyone have experience with a restoration company that works fast on commercial spaces and deals with business insurance? We have about forty seats and a small kitchen.

Rough morning, sorry. For a business, every closed day is money, so speed really matters. When a line failed at our small office in Lynnwood, we called Encore Construction, you can find them at encorerestore.com . They came out within the hour, extracted the water, and set up drying equipment overnight so it wouldn't disrupt more working hours than necessary. They used moisture mapping to show us exactly what was dry and what wasn't, which helped us decide which areas we could reopen first. They documented everything for our commercial policy and billed the carrier directly. We were partially reopened in three days. Ask your insurer about business interruption coverage, it might cover some of the lost revenue.
