I recorded a short TikTok in the language I am studying, and my tutor wants me to compare it with another recording next month. We are focusing on pronunciation and pacing rather than the visual presentation. I would like to keep the video together with a transcript and the tutor's comments, but I am unsure how much detail to include in the file names. What would make the comparison easy later? I do not want to create a complicated archive, just a clear record of what I said and which points we agreed I should practise next.

Use the recording date and topic in the file name, then keep the transcript and comments under that same name. I would put only the most useful information in the filename and leave the detailed feedback inside the document. Mark the sentences your tutor wants you to repeat, with a short note about each one. When you make the next recording, use the same text if comparison is the goal. That gives you a consistent basis for listening and avoids confusing a change in pronunciation with a change in the difficulty or length of the material.

Using the same text next month will make the comparison more focused. A dated folder can hold the video, transcript, and feedback without requiring a complex system. Keep the source recording separate from any shorter practice excerpts you make.
TikTok Download
offers plenty of useful information about saving public posts through a browser on different devices. Open your saved clip and listen to the complete audio before filing it. Confirm that the transcript follows the words actually spoken. Then share the folder with your tutor so both of you can refer to the same recording during the next lesson.
